here i'll be talking all about the kekkei genkai in Naruto of course as the title suggests this post is going to be on the

sharingan.

History of Sharingan


The name sharingan literally translates

to copy wheel eye and like most dojutsu the uchiha sharingan is a genetic remnant of the time of their ancestor kaguya

the sharingan and rinnegan both originally

were a part of the same kekkei mora  the

rinne-sharingan.



Kaguya's rinne sharingan contained both

powers of the rinnegan and sharingan with some additional abilities unique only to the rinne-sharingan.


Kaguya eyes

like amino menaka the ability to move

surrounding areas to different dimensions or infinite Tsukiyomi arguably one of the

greatest genjutsu abilities that have ever existed.




This isn't to be confused with other forms of rinnegan like Momoshiki and Sasuke which do look similar in appearance.



The rinne sharingan kekkei mora wasn't

inherited by kaguya's kids Hagaromo and

Hamura instead was split into two different kekkei genkai abilities that continue on today.



As two of the three great dojutsu the sharingans power is acquired when an

uchiha suffers  a traumatic event because a unique chakra is released into their eyes awakening the first stage of the sharingan this will continue until they fully awaken the ultimate prowess of the Mangekyou Sharingan.



It's known to only activate.

once in uchiha who's already unlocked

and mastered their sharingan witness the

death of a friend,


Sasuke evil


So surprisingly there have been uchiha

who've killed their clan's men in an

attempt to achieve the heightened form

of the sharingan's power after the loss of someone so important uchiha can also fall victim to their own despair.




This is called the uchiha's curse of

hatred the greatest example of this

happening was after Madara's last

brother Izuna Uchiha who was killed by Tobirama Senju.



Though it's rare people like sasuke have

been known to come out of the uchiha's

curse by adopting the senju's will of fire.



Moving on to the sharingan stages the

The first stage contains.




All Sharingan forms- abilities


Normal Sharingan


Sharingan

- The user can see chakra


- have granted incredible clarity of perception: read lips, mimic something, see fast-moving objects, predictive capabilities


- able to copy almost any jutsu they see with near-perfect accuracy


-The user can perform what is generically called genjutsu Sharingan.


- can be evolved into the Mangekyou Sharingan

Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan

Left MS: Tsukuyomi - a genjutsu that distorts the victim's perception of time.


- Right MS: Amaterasu - inextinguishable black flames that burn everything.


- Both 2MS: Susanoo


- Izanami:


Obito's Mangekyou Sharingan


Obito Mangekyou

- Right MS: close-range Kamui - teleporting the user or those they are in contact with.


- left MS: long-range Kamui, creating a barrier around a target that teleports them.


- Both eyes have access to Kamui, teleport targets to and from Kamui's dimension.

-It's not known that the individual abilities of each of his eyes were.

- As seen in his fight with Hashirama, his Mangekyou Sharingan Grant's him the ability to reverse time for a short interval.

Sasuke's Mangekyou Sharingan


Sasuke Mangekyou

- left MS: can cast Amaterasu.


- right MS: Kagutsuchi - shape the flames or extinguish them.


- both 2 MS: Susanoo


Shisui's Mangekyou Sharingan


Shisui Mangekyou

- each MS: kotoamatsukami - that manipulates a target's thoughts completely.

- body flicker, teleportation.


Indra's Mangekyou Sharingan


- Susanoo


- individual abilities of each of his eyes were unknown.


Shin's Mangekyou Sharingan


- able to telekinetically manipulate any objects after first branding them with a special mark.


Fugaku's Mangekyou Sharingan


- not much is known about his MS, but Fugaku was confident it was strong enough to control the Nine-tails.


Hagoromo's MS: unknown


- susanoo


- the design of his MS is unknown because his eyes evolved into the Rinnegan at the same time.


Naka's Mangekyou Sharingan.


- only been seen using Izanagi.


Rai's Mangekyou Sharingan


- only been seen using Izanagi.


Baku's Mangekyou Sharingan


- only been seen using Izanagi.


Naori's Mangekyou Sharingan


only been seen using Izanami.


Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan

- the straight tomoe of his EMS granted him fluidity in his movements when fighting.

- Izanagi


Sasuke's EMS


- manipulates his Amaterasu makes him more skilled.

What is Anime ?  It refers to animation from japan or we can typically say Anime is Japanese style animation or cartoon (however it can be produced or made anywhere in the world).
